Heavy rain on 21 and 22 August
Meteorological Department scientist Ajay Shukla said that a strong rain system is likely to become active from Tuesday, which may cause heavy rainfall in the entire state on August 21 and 22. The reason for this is the active cyclone in the Bay of Bengal, which is moving forward as a low pressure area.
Rain alert in the next few days
According to the Meteorological Department, so far, the state has received more than 76 percent of the rainfall of this monsoon season i.e. 28.5 inches.
