A case of assault on an innocent child has come to light from Rajgarh district of Madhya Pradesh, where touching the Prasad proved costly for a child who had come to the temple. Due to this, the priest and his son beat up an innocent person severely. They made the child run around in the temple and beat him. Not only this, even the child’s head was broken. The injured child has received 10 stitches. After the entire incident, the victim’s family has lodged a complaint in the Khilchipur police station.

The injured child has been admitted to the district hospital in Khilchipur after first aid, where his treatment is ongoing. The victim’s family has also narrated their pain to former Chief Minister Digvijay Singh who came to inspect the hospital.
The victim’s father Govardhan Tanwar told that Bade Maharaj, located in Khilchipur Nagar, had gone. It is claimed that by praying here, people suffering from typhoid are cured. The child touched the priest’s prasad in the temple. The priest and his son became so enraged at this that they hit the innocent boy on the head with an iron object. Not only this, the priest and his son chased the child inside the temple and beat him up. The child got injured in this accident. After which he was admitted to the hospital. The child had to undergo 10 stitches.

Khilchipur police has registered a case against the accused priest and his son under various sections. Former CM and Congress candidate from Rajgarh Lok Sabha constituency, Digvijay Singh, who was on a visit to the hospital last Monday night, was on a visit to the Rajgarh District Hospital. Here the victim’s family narrated their ordeal and also told about the brutality of the Pandit.
