Kumar Inder, Jabalpur. Three people died and five people are seriously injured when a cargo (pick-up) vehicle overturned in Khitauli police station area of the district. The injured have been admitted to the hospital for treatment. It is being told that the vehicle was going from Jabalpur to Katni when a chital came on the road near Panumaria Marg Sharda near Khitauli. While trying to save it, the vehicle went out of control and overturned, due to which three people died on the spot, while five people are seriously injured. The injured were first admitted to the Civil Hospital of Sihora from where the seriously injured were referred to the Medical College with the help of 108 ambulance.
As soon as the incident was reported, Khitauli police station TI Sangeeta Singh and her staff reached the spot and immediately rushed the injured to the hospital. The bodies of the deceased were kept in the mortuary of Sihora hospital. The postmortem will be done on Friday morning. Sihora subdivisional officer Parul Sharma said that due to the sudden appearance of the chital, the goods carrier vehicle collided directly with the matador, due to which the pick-up vehicle went far away and overturned. The chital also died in this accident. The deceased include 1- Adik Singh father, 50 years, resident of Silodi, 2- Sukrat Singh, 50 years, resident of Mahgawa 3- Om Prakash, 53 years, resident of Ward No. 3 Sihora.
