Retired SI’s son became fake officer of CM Secretariat: Threatened not to submit tender and asked for 30 percent commission

Kamal Verma Gwalior. A shocking case has come to light in Gwalior district of Madhya Pradesh where a contractor was threatened by posing as a fake officer of the CM Secretariat. The fake officer threatened him not to submit tenders in Swachh Bharat Mission-2 and demanded 30 percent commission.

On the complaint of contractor Ravishankar Srivastava, Gwalior Crime Branch has registered a case and arrested the fake officer from Itarsi. According to the information, Abhimanyu Singh, son of retired SI, had called him to the capital Bhopal posing as a fake officer of CM Secretariat and threatened him not to submit the tender. The fake officer of CM Secretariat was also demanding 30 percent commission on submitting the tender. Police is busy interrogating the accused. Police is trying to find out how many more people the accused has threatened by posing as a fake officer and for what work.
