Overloaded dumpers filled with sand are running rampant on the National Highway, shining roads are becoming dilapidated, demand for action from SP

Kumar Inder, Jabalpur. The arbitrariness of dumpers continues in Jabalpur National Highway. Heavy vehicles laden with sand are speeding on the shining roads. There is always a danger to life due to fast and heavy vehicles. But neither is any action being taken against the vehicles speeding openly on the roads nor are they being stopped.

Today, people of Barela and surrounding Gram Panchayat have submitted a memorandum to the SP regarding overloaded dumpers galloping on the National Highway. Also demanded action against them. The people who came to submit the memorandum said that the condition of the roads is worsening day by day due to overloaded vehicles filled with sand coming from Mandla. The roads have started falling into disrepair. Therefore, action should be taken against such overloaded vehicles.

People who came to submit a memorandum against overloaded vehicles said that 40-40 cubic meter goods are overloaded in a 16 cubic meter vehicle. Because of which there is a danger of an accident occurring at any time. Apart from this, the road is also getting spoiled due to vehicles weighing many times more than its carrying capacity. In this matter, Traffic SP Pradeep Shende says that this matter will be investigated and appropriate action will be taken.
