Actually, a young man married not once but twice. After this, he left both the wives. In the end, both the wives together have appealed for action against the husband.
First marriage in 2019, wife thrown out of the house in 2021
Nisha Rathore, a resident of Uttaranchal, has complained of harassment against her husband Updesh Rathore in the SP office. Nisha told that she was married to Updesh Rathore, a resident of Gwalior, on 5 March 2019 as per family rituals. They also had a son in 2021, but during the Corona period, her husband started harassing her for dowry. Then one day he threw her out of the house.

Second marriage in 2023 without divorce
After this, Updesh filed a divorce case against Nisha in the court. Nisha complained to the police about this and also filed a case for maintenance in the family court. In which the court ordered to pay a monthly alimony of Rs 6 thousand. Meanwhile, Updesh secretly married Priyanka Rathore, a resident of Gwalior, on 1 May 2023 without getting divorced. When Nisha reached Updesh’s house on June 9, she came to know about the second marriage. Then she reached the SP to request action against her husband.
On the other hand, the second wife Priyanka Rathore has also complained to the police about her husband Updesh. Priyanka told that she was married to Updesh, a resident of Bahurapur, on 1 May 2023 with family rituals. But on November 20, Updesh and his in-laws beat her up over dowry and evicted her from the house. After being hurt by the incident, Priyanka along with her family had lodged a complaint at the police station.
Information was received about the husband being married two and a half months ago
After this, in the month of February, husband Updesh and his family members pacified the matter by convincing Priyanka, but in the month of May, he beat her for dowry and threw her out of the house once again. About two and a half months ago, Priyanka came to know that her husband Updesh was already married. Priyanka reached the police station with a complaint of harassment and fraud against her. But the police did not take any action.

The wives met at the SP office and then filed a complaint together
Today on Tuesday, when the second wife Priyanka reached Gwalior SP office with a complaint against her husband, she met Updesh’s first wife Nisha Rathore there. Nisha had also come to the SP office to complain about her husband. Both the wives together have requested the police officers to take action against their husband. Meanwhile, ASP Nirjan Sharma has said that action will be taken according to the law after investigation in this matter soon.
