Naiduniya Representative, Gwalior. A notice has been issued to Sub Inspector Amar Singh Raikwar, investigating officer of Padav police station, regarding contempt of court for not following the order given by Additional Sessions Judge Anuj Kumar Mittal in a bail case. Advocate Awadhesh Singh Bhadauria had filed an anticipatory bail petition on behalf of Raki alias Yogendra Singh Kaurav, resident of police station Rithora district Morena, in the case of firing at Hotel Saya recently.
It was said that the police had registered a false case against Raki under Section 110 of the BNS and Sections 25 and 27 of the Arms Act in connection with the firing. Advocate Awadhesh Singh Bhadauria argued in the court that this case is in the category of a crime punishable with imprisonment up to three years, hence as per the guidelines of the Supreme Court, the police is bound to release Raki on notice in case of arrest.

But the investigating officer arrested Raki and presented him before the magistrate, from where he was sent to jail.
