For the first time in March, the cold has knocked. All cities of MP including Bhopal, Indore, Ujjain, Gwalior-Jabalpur have recorded a decline in day and night temperatures.
Mercury reached below 10 degrees
The night temperature has reached below 10 degrees in 9 cities of the state. Bhopal has a minimum temperature of 9.8 degrees. The lowest temperature was 8 degrees of Mandla. In fact, the snowfall in the hilly areas has suddenly increased in Madhya Pradesh. A similar temperature has been estimated by the Meteorological Department till Holika Dahan. Talking about big cities, 9.8 degrees in Bhopal, 9 in Ujjain, Jabalpur 9.6, Indore 10.8 and mercury in Gwalior was 11.6 degrees. Here, on Thursday, there was a slight increase in day temperature. However, the effect of cold winds continued.
So the cold increased in the state
According to the Meteorological Department, the weather has changed due to active Western Disturbance in North India. There is snowfall in the mountains and cold wind is moving. Due to this, there has been a significant decline in night temperatures. The weather will remain the same for the next two days. There may be a decline of 2 to 3 degrees. A new Western Disturbance may be active in the Western Himalayan region from 9 March. If this happens, two days later, the impact can be seen in the state as well. However, it is not yet expected to rain.
