There has been a huge drop in temperature in many districts of the state, due to which a cold wave alert has been issued. The capital Bhopal was seen engulfed in fog. The densest fog of the season was seen. Visibility was less than 50 meters. After the rains of Mawathe, a period of dense fog has started. In such a situation, there is severe cold in the state.

Fog hits 32 districts of the state
The effect of fog is being seen in 32 districts including Bhopal, Gwalior, Sheopur, Morena, Bhind, Shivpuri, Datia, Neemuch, Mandsaur, Agar-Malwa, Rajgarh, Sehore, Raisen, Vidisha, Sagar, Niwari. Due to which people are facing problems while driving on the road.
Cold wave alert in these cities today
The Meteorological Department has issued a cold wave alert in Neemuch, Mandsaur, Rajgarh, Raisen, Tikamgarh, Chhatarpur, Panna, Jabalpur, Rewa. Amidst the severe cold, people have to resort to bonfires. The cold wave has created chills.

According to the Meteorological Department, the minimum temperature in the capital Bhopal was recorded at 10.4 degrees. The temperature was 13.2 degrees in Indore, 13.5 degrees in Jabalpur and 11.1 degrees in Gwalior. While the maximum temperature was recorded at 18 degrees in Tikamgarh and Naugaon, 19 degrees in Sidhi and Rewa. Neemuch was the coldest district of the state, the minimum temperature here was recorded at 3.5 degrees.
