Shabbir Ahmed, Bhopal. Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Dr Mohan Yadav will be on a tour to Ujjain, Indore and Gwalior today. The Chief Minister will give a big gift to the people of Ujjain. In Ujjain, the Chief Minister will participate in the program of deepening of the pond located in the Police Line under Ganga Jal Sanvardhan Abhiyan. There he will also inaugurate the Police Control Room, Ujjain. He will also inaugurate the open jail. The CM will participate in the Bhoomi Pujan of the Kanha Close Duct Project and the Bhoomi Pujan and inauguration of various departments. Here in Gwalior, he will participate in the meeting of Jal Ganga Sanvardhan Abhiyan and Bhoomi Pujan and inauguration program. The Chief Minister will take night rest in Ujjain itself.
Waiting for monsoon in Madhya Pradesh
After entering many states including Maharashtra, both the Arabian Sea and Bay of Bengal branches of monsoon have weakened. Due to this, there is a possibility of entry in Madhya Pradesh only after 2-3 days from the scheduled time. Two colors of weather are being seen in the state right now. It is raining at some places and it is hot at other places. According to the Meteorological Department, there are chances of rain in Bhopal, Indore, Ujjain. Whereas a heat wave alert has been issued in Khajuraho.
NSUI workers protest against BU University management
NSUI workers have opened a front against the Barkatullah University management. NSUI students have gone on an indefinite hunger strike demanding the conduct of the M Pharma course examination. Students protested all night outside the Vice Chancellor’s cabin. The M Pharma course examination has not been conducted for the last 1 year. The 2-year course has not had an examination for the last 1 year. Students have made serious allegations against the Vice Chancellor. The Vice Chancellor did not even give time to meet the students to listen to their problems.
Plantation campaign will start in MP from July 15
An extensive tree plantation campaign will be run in all urban areas of the state from 15 July to 15 September. A target has been set to plant 1 crore 75 lakh saplings in urban areas in the two-month long plantation drive. In this regard, the Urban Development and Housing Department has issued guidelines to all collectors. 15 lakh saplings will be planted in Bhopal and Indore Municipal Corporations, 10 lakh saplings each in Gwalior, Jabalpur and Ujjain Municipal Corporations, while 5 lakh saplings each will be planted in the other 11 municipal corporations.
