The bail plea filed on behalf of Abdul Rahman, a resident of Kerala, said that Bhopal Crime Branch had arrested a digital arrest and arrested him on 22 March 2024 for cheating a person about Rs 69 lakh. Since then he has been in judicial custody. Two accused made in the case have got the benefit of bail. Apart from this, the Crime Branch has also presented the charge sheet in the court.

Opposing the bail application, Government Advocate CM Tiwari said that the accused is a member of the international gang. In the current case, the complainant was threatened by calling the complainant and sending 200 mg of MDMA drugs from his Aadhaar ID and digital arrest was taken and about Rs 69 lakh was taken from him. Apart from this, Dubai resident co -accused Mohammad Shafi had transferred Rs 14 lakh to the account of the person named Abdul.
