Rakesh Chaturvedi, Bhopal. Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav has formed the cabinet in Madhya Pradesh. After the swearing in of ministers on Monday, the picture of all sections and regions in the cabinet has become clear. On the basis of ministers of the new cabinet, representation has been given to the divisions of the entire state.

12 ministers from OBC category – 12 out of 30 ministers i.e. 40% OBC ministers Narayan Singh Kushwaha (Gwalior South), Prahlad Patel (Narsinghpur), Rakesh Singh (Jabalpur West), Krishna Gaur (Govindpura), Narendra Shivaji Patel (Udaipura), Dharmendra Singh Lodhi (Jabera), Inder Singh Parmar (Shujalpur), Adal Singh Kanshana (Sumavali) Karan Singh Verma (Ichhawar), Lakhan Patel (Patharia), Rao Uday Pratap Singh (Gadarwara) and Narayan Panwar (Biawara) OBCs in Shivraj government too. There were 12 ministers from this category but since there were 12 ministers out of 33, the percentage was 36%.

4 ministers from ST category: Sampatia Uike (Mandla), Nirmala Bhuria (Petlawad), Nagar Singh Chauhan (Alirajpur) and Vijay Shah (Harsud). Last time also there were only 4 ministers from this category.

There were 5 ministers from SC category Tulsi Silavat (Sanwer), Pratima Bagri (Regaon), Gautam Tetwal (Sarangpur), Dilip Ahirwar (Chandla) and Jagdish Deora (Malhargarh). There were 3 ministers from SC category in Shivraj government.

9 ministers of general category Kailash Vijayvargiya (Indore-1), Pradyuman Singh Tomar (Gwalior) Vishwas Sarang (Narela), Rakesh Shukla (Mehangav), Radha Singh (Chitrangi), Govind Singh Rajput (Surkhi), Chaitanya Kashyap (Ratlam City), Dilip Jaiswal (Kotma) and Rajendra Shukla (Rewa) last time there were 14 ministers from the general category.
