Naiduniya representative, Chhatarpur: In the stone pelting case on the police station, a video of a Maulana has surfaced, in which Irfan Chishti is appealing to people to join the protest in maximum numbers. He is also telling people that those who do not join this protest have no right to take out a procession on Eid Miladunnabi.
FIR against more than 150 people in the case
Some people gathered in Kotwali and protested and pelted stones in the police station premises. The police force suffered serious injuries and property damage. A case was registered against more than 150 accused including 46 named accused under various sections of the Indian Penal Code and other Acts in Kotwali police station.

22 miscreants sent to jail
On the basis of video footage and collected evidence, 22 miscreants, namely Asif, Moin, Inayat, Sajid, Zaheer, Faizan, Ehsan, Shoaib, Syed Javed Ali, Sheikh Javed, Muqeen, Rustam, Salman Rain, Furqan, Rashid, Raqib, Akhlaq, Irfan, Salman Saudagar, Danish, Arif Raza, Fayaz were arrested and sent to jail on Friday.

Sheikh Faizan son of late Sheikh Tahir, age 26 years, resident of Rani Talaiya Mashtanshah Colony Chhattarpur, Mohammad Irfan alias Maulana Irfan son of Mohammad Ilyas, age 34 years, resident of Housing Board Colony Naya Mohalla Chhattarpur, Nazim Chaudhary son of Aziz Chaudhary, age 50 years, resident behind Circuit House, Pathapur Road, Chhattarpur were produced in the court on Saturday from where they were sent to jail.
