Voting is to be held on eight Lok Sabha seats in the fourth phase on May 13, for which a police force of more than 50 thousand will be deployed in Indore and Ujjain divisions. If we talk about Indore Lok Sabha seat, there are 2677 booths, on which 13 companies will be deployed with around 8000 police forces. 496 critical booths have been identified. Which will be monitored by additional police force and CCTV cameras.

According to Indore Police Commissioner Rakesh Gupta, training has been given to the policemen regarding all the security arrangements at the booth. To ensure that there is no disruption in the arrangements at any booth, CCTV cameras with voice recording are being installed at critical booths, the live telecast of which will be in the control room. Along with this, the police is also continuously keeping an eye on the criminals released from jail on parole through GPS tracking.
