Leader of Opposition Umang Singar’s problems increased: High Court issued notice, know what is the matter

Hemant Sharma, Indore. Leader of Opposition in Madhya Pradesh Assembly Umang Singar’s troubles are going to increase. Indore bench of High Court has issued notice of appearance. He is scheduled to appear after 4 weeks of today’s hearing.

BJP candidate Sardar Singh Medha had filed a petition against the election of Gandhwani seat in the 2023 assembly elections. Notice has been issued to Umang Singar, Dhumsingh Mandloi and Suman Bai Anare to appear in the court. Orders have also been issued to release the EVMs of Gandhwani area deposited in the court. The government had filed a petition citing shortage of EVMs in the Lok Sabha elections. On the petition of the government, the High Court has issued orders to release EVMs.
