Security of approximately 500 km long railway track
Fencing will be installed instead of walls to protect the approximately 500 km long railway track of Jabalpur Railway Division alone. About one thousand km long fencing including up and down is to be installed, for which the engineering department of Jabalpur Railway Division has started the work. At present, railway land is being marked on both sides of the track.
Approval on proposal, now work will be done
Jabalpur Railway Division has about 500 km of railway track between Itarsi to Manikpur, Katni to Bina, Katni to Singrauli and Satna to Rewa. It also includes more than 100 railway stations.
Railways will install fencing on both sides of the track
In the first phase, Railways will build walls on both ends of the railway station, so that suspicious people can be prevented from coming into the station premises. After this, fencing will be installed on both sides of the railway track going from one station to another.
Railway land is being marked.
Green signal has already been given on this proposal. This time Railways has given in the budget. The engineering department has started the work of installing fencing on both sides of the railway track. Railway land is being identified there.
Help in increasing the speed of trains, stopping animals
Fencing will not only protect the tracks but will also help in increasing the speed of trains and will also prevent animals from coming on the railway tracks.
Track speed going to 130 km per hour
Jabalpur Railway Division is going to increase the speed of the railway track from 110 km per hour to 130 km per hour. This speed will be up to 160 km. For this, the most important thing is to install fencing on both sides of the track.
Engine damage due to other animals coming in
The engine is getting damaged due to the presence of cows and buffaloes along with other animals on the track. There have been many cases of animals coming onto the track and hitting the engine, resulting in severe damage to the engine. In such a situation, fencing work has to be done on both sides of the track.
Cases of possessing suspicious objects increased
A case of placing iron rods on the railway track has come to light in Kachpura. Suspicious object was also found kept on the track at Itarsi Outer of Jabalpur station. Later many suspicious objects were found kept on the track near Itarsi and Bina.
