This incident took place near Agrasen intersection of Murar. The robbers have been seen in the CCTV camera footage. On this basis the police is searching for them. Now the robbers have become active again during the festival season. There have been two incidents of robbery one after the other.
Priyanka, wife of Kunal Sahu, resident of Naharwali Mata Mandir Road, Naka Chandravadni, has her maternal home in Murar. She had gone to her maternal home a few days ago. Friday was the last day of Navratri, hence she had gone to Mata’s temple located at Saudagar Santar for darshan. She was returning home after visiting the temple, when she passed in front of Narayan Das Trading Company near Agrasen intersection, two miscreants came from behind riding on a bike.
The miscreant sitting behind pounced on his neck and took away the gold mangalsutra weighing one and a half tola. When the woman raised an alarm, a crowd gathered here. Two bike riders also chased the miscreants, but the miscreants drove away at high speed. Police was informed. There was a blockade, but the robbers could not be encircled. The police looked at CCTV cameras, in which the robbers were seen. Some suspects have been picked up by the police for questioning in Murar and surrounding areas but the robbers are currently missing.

Robbery in a crowded market: The robbers had no fear of the police. There is a huge crowd where the robbery took place. There is hustle and bustle from early morning till late night. It is the festival season now, so the market is more crowded. Still, the robbers fled after committing the robbery.
