33 railway stations of MP will be rejuvenated: Special facilities for elderly and disabled passengers, know what will change after PM’s inauguration.

Under the Amrit Bharat Yojana in Madhya Pradesh, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday virtually inaugurated the redevelopment and inauguration of 33 railway stations. In which Sehore, Jabalpur, Bina, Ashoknagar, Khirkiya, Sanchi, Shajapur, Beohari, Bargawan, Narsinghpur, Pipariya, Indore, Ujjain, Mandsaur, Maksi, Nagda, Neemuch, Shujalpur, Khachrod, Balaghat, Chhindwara, Khandwa, Mandla Fort, Nainpur, Seoni, Anuppur, Shahdol, Umaria, Bijuri, Morena, Harpalpur, Datia and Bhind stations are included.

While addressing the people at the bhoomi pujan and inauguration of the new railway station, the Prime Minister said that new railway stations and expansion of railway lines being built across the country are not only for the convenience of the people. Rather, it is also to give further impetus to the industrial development of the country. Today, when a poor person reaches railway stations, he gets airport like facilities. Attacking the previous governments, PM Modi said that the previous governments always cried foul by calling Railways a deficit budget. But in the last 10 years, we have not only laid thousands of kilometers of railway lines but have also given a grand look to new railway stations. PM Modi said that today every penny of the money received by the public as tickets is being spent on the development of railways. As the capacity of railways increases, the pace of our development will also increase at the same pace. He said that whenever railway development work is done, everyone from a laborer to an engineer gets employment. Today the railway budget has become more than Rs 2.5 lakh crore.

Railway station will be the new identity of Jabalpur – Rakesh Singh

Public Works Minister and former MP Rakesh Singh, who participated in the program, said that Jabalpur is going to get a new identity with the new railway station being built in Jabalpur. He said that the new railway station to be built at a cost of Rs 460 crore will have 8 platforms. 24 accelerators and 30 lifts will be installed. Apart from this, there will be a 75 meter Roop Plaza. There will be multi parking facility. With the construction of the new railway station of Jabalpur, it will also prove to be the biggest and grandest railway station of Madhya Pradesh. He said that in this railway station, efforts will be made to provide every facility that a passenger needs. A time limit has also been set for the railway station to be built in the new format, under which this station will have to be built within 30 months.

This facility will be available at the railway station

In the new railway station, to be built at a cost of Rs 460 crore, first of all, special attention has been given to the facilities of the passengers, in which there will be 24 accelerators for people to move from one platform to another. There will be 30 lifts for loading goods, a 70 meter long plaza, a cafet area, a commercial expressway, an integrated education system, and special facilities for elderly and disabled passengers. All airport like facilities will be provided at the railway station.

Underpass with WiFi zone at Indore Railway Station

Hemant Sharma, Indore. MP Shankar Lalwani, MLA Malini Laxman Singh Gaur, MLA Golu Shukla and other MLAs were present in the redevelopment and inauguration program of the railway station. The MP said that Indore railway station will be made beautiful on the lines of the airport. This railway station will also have an underpass with a WiFi zone, which will connect the bus stand to the railway station. In the coming time, there will be connectivity between railway station, bus stand and airport through metro.

In earlier governments, there was a separate budget for railways – MP Dhalsingh Bisen

Neeraj Kakotia, Balaghat. At a cost of Rs 8 crore, Balaghat railway station will have a waiting hall with modern facilities and friendly facilities for senior citizens and disabled people. Besides, wide parking, high mask lights and CCTV will be installed. MP Dhalsingh Bisen said that in earlier governments there was a separate budget for railways. Due to which sufficient budget was not available for the expansion of railway facilities. But after 2014, the budget shortfall was resolved by including the Railway Budget in the General Budget.

Imran Khan, Khandwa. Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s speech was telecast live on platform number 5 of the railway station. Khandwa MLA Kanchan Tanve and many public representatives were present in the program along with Khandwa MP Dnyaneshwar Patil. Khandwa railway station will be made a world class station at a cost of Rs 346 crore. The railway station will be transformed in the coming 2 years.

Anil Saxena, Raisen. Deputy Chief Minister Rajendra Shukla inaugurated the program organized at the railway station premises in Sanchi. Collector Arvind Dubey said that under the Amrit Bharat Station Scheme, Sanchi Railway Station in Raisen district will be redeveloped at a cost of Rs 8.5 crore. Under this scheme, internal beautification of the station with elements of local art culture, beautification and development of satellite area, high level platform, new road of station access road, walking path and other facilities will be ensured in the railway station. Redevelopment of stations will facilitate the movement of passengers and will also promote economic, social and tourism development in the respective areas.
