During investigation, every day about 12 people are found suffering from anxiety and depression. Both men and women are included in this. Different symptoms of mental illness are found in patients of each age group.

100-150 patients are coming to OPD every day. 50 percent of the patients suffer from anxiety and depression. 12-15 new patients with both problems are being found every day. One to two patients, due to workplace stress.
From officer to housewife
Anxiety and depression sufferers coming to the medical college for checkup range from officers to housewives. The company instructed an officer to complete the target in 20 days. Got stressed due to this. Couldn’t sleep. Health deteriorated. Recovered with counseling and medicine.
Work pressure for 10-12 hours
The mental health of a girl working in a private bank started getting affected due to the pressure of working for 10-12 hours. She is undergoing treatment. A 58-year-old housewife got tired of doing the same household chores every day. When she started feeling sad and depressed, she got tested.
