The cyclonic storm ‘Yas’, which has risen from the Bay of Bengal, is causing great havoc. The impact of Yas storm can also be seen in Chhattisgarh. The Meteorological Department has issued an alert for the next 48 hours. Warning of heavy rain has been issued in the districts of Chhattisgarh, bordering Jharkhand and Odisha.
Meteorologist HP Chandra said that there will be heavy rains in Balrampur, Sarguja, Surajpur, Jashpur, Bilaspur, Raigad and Janjgir, Mahasamund in the state. There is also a possibility of celestial lightning in some places. Given this, the general public needs to be cautious. Also, strong winds can also move. Due to the Yas cyclone, the temperature in Chhattisgarh will not change, but the temperature may definitely increase.
