Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel has greeted the people of the state on the occasion of International Forestry Day. In his message released here today, he has said that World Forestry Day is celebrated on 21st March to protect trees and forests around the world and to convey its importance to the people. Many animals, insects and moths are interdependent on the forest. This arrangement is very necessary for the protection of the environment as well as the biological coexistence. Forests are the source of various food and other useful materials along with the vital oxygen on earth. We are seeing the effect of increasing population and changing lifestyle in the form of shrinking forest and polluted environment.
