c.g. Dantewada, the tribal dominated district of the state, is going to establish a separate identity on the map of India and the world. Under Paramparagat Krishi Vikas Yojna, 10264 farmers and 65279.29 hectare area are to be benefited in 110 villages of the district through large area certification. The process of certification of organic farming takes at least three years to convert from chemical farming to organic farming. Agricultural chemicals and modified seeds have not been used in many parts of India for the past several years, and farmers practice traditional methods of farming. For such areas, the Government of India has started the process of large field certification, in which immediate organic certificate is provided to the farmers, reducing the organic conversion period. So that farmers can get good price for their produce in the market. Agricultural chemicals, fertilizers, insecticides, modified seeds are not being used by the farmers for the last 6 years in 110 villages of Dantewada district. In 110 such identified villages of the district, farmers have passed a resolution to adopt organic farming by organizing Gram Sabha. In the 65279 hectare area of ​​the above marked area, the demand for ‘large area certification’. An expert committee has been constituted by the Government General Administration Department. Which will give its recommendation regarding reducing the conversion period in these areas. This committee, constituted under the chairmanship of Director Agriculture, will visit the identified areas on October 11, 2022 and discuss with the farmers and after meeting on October 12, 2022, prepare its recommendation regarding reducing conversion in the said villages. The information of all the farmers has been entered in the portal to get the certificate of organic farming from the Government of India. In this simple process of certification, there will be no need to re-enter the information every year and through a very simple method, the certificate of organic farming can be easily made available to the farmers year after year. Simultaneous certification will probably be for the first time in such a large area and with this historic effort, the winds of prosperity and economic prosperity will flow in the lives of the farmers of Dantewada district.
