Raipur 11 December 2024/ State Chief Minister Shri Vishnudev Sai, while addressing the program organized at Pakhanjur in Kanker district today, said that the state government is working for the welfare and progress of all sections. Every possible effort is being made for the development of Bastar region. He said that through schemes like Niyad Nella Naar, the people living in Bastar are easily getting basic facilities like roads, schools, drinking water, housing, electricity along with the schemes of the Central and State Government. Now the wind of development is blowing in Bastar.
In the program, Chief Minister Shri Sai announced Rs 8.78 crore for strengthening the road from Pakhanjur to Mayapur, Rs 2 crore for the construction of sports complex, Rs 30 lakh for the repair work of Civil Hospital and construction of Nalanda Complex Library. He unveiled the statue of former Nagar Panchayat President Shri Asim Roy. On this occasion, Chief Minister Shri Sai inaugurated and performed Bhoomi Pujan of 68 construction works worth a total of Rs 254.15 crore. These include Bhoomi Pujan of 43 development works worth Rs 215.41 crore and inauguration of 25 works worth Rs 38.74 crore.
Addressing the program, the Chief Minister said that the state government is going to complete one year on December 13 and the government is making every possible effort to fulfill the promises made to the public in such a short time. He said that immediately after the formation of the government, the difference amount has been paid to the farmers on Good Governance Day on 25th December. New houses were approved under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana. He said that the remuneration of tendu leaf collectors has been increased from Rs 4000 to Rs 5500 per standard bag.
Chief Minister Shri Sai said that the government is making every possible effort for the development of Bastar. Under the Niyya Nellanar Scheme, the villagers living in Maoist affected areas are being given the benefits of government schemes. At the same time, PM Janman Yojana is being run to connect special backward tribes with development. Business and industry are being promoted by implementing the new industrial policy in the state. Similarly, CBI is continuously taking action against those who commit irregularities in the state PSC examination.
On this occasion, Deputy Chief Minister Shri Arun Sao said that in the last one year, the Sai government has done many works for the people of the state. 70 lakh women of the state are being given an amount of one thousand rupees every month under Mahtari Vandan Yojana. Houses are being built continuously under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana. Starting from farmers, every section of the society is getting welfare. Antagarh MLA Shri Vikram Dev Usendi also addressed the program.
Kanker MLA Mr. Asharam Netam, President of Nagar Panchayat Pakhanjur Mrs. Monica Saha, former MLA Mr. Devlal Dugga, Manturam Pawar, former Chairman of State Fisheries Development Board Mr. Bharat Matiyara, many public representatives and a large number of people were present in the program.
