Amidst speculations about the expansion of Vishnudev’s cabinet, the statement of Union Minister Manohar Lal Khattar has created a political stir, in which he has mentioned about Lata Usendi being made a minister. In fact, during his address in the BJP state working committee meeting, Khattar said about Lata Usendi sitting on the stage that she became an MLA from Kondagaon in 2003. She is a minister now. He was interrupted on this. After this, he said that she is becoming a minister now. Sensing the delicacy of the situation, Khattar immediately said, she must have got excited by the talk of becoming a minister.
Let us tell you that Lata Usedi became MLA for the first time in 2003 from Kondagaon. In the 2023 elections, she became MLA by defeating senior Congress leader Mohan Markam. Lata Usendi has played a big responsibility in the Odisha elections. Now there is a lot of enthusiasm among her supporters by addressing her as a minister.
In this meeting, National Co-Organization Minister Shiv Prakash, CM Vishnudev Sai, State In-charge Nitin Navin, Assembly Speaker Dr. Raman Singh, BJP State President Kiran Singhdev, Union Minister of State Tokhan Sahu, Deputy CM Arun Sao, Vijay Sharma, MP Brijmohan Agarwal, Minister Ramvichar Netam and more than 1500 officials were present.
