In Scindia village under Katghora police station area of the district, the laborer has died under suspicious circumstances after falling from an under -construction water tank. The deceased has been identified as 50 -year -old Maheshwar Sharma, who was a resident of Vasudev village in Saharanpur district of Bihar. He was working as a mistry in the water tank being built in Scindia village.
According to preliminary information, Maheshwar was sleeping over the water tank under construction last night. In the morning, his body was found lying down on the ground. It is feared that he may have fallen from the tank at night, causing him to die.
On receiving the information of the incident, the Katghora police reached the spot and the body has been sent for post -mortem. The police is investigating the case and other colleagues of the deceased are being questioned so that the entire situation of the incident can be clear. Along with this, information has also been given to the families of the deceased.
At present, the question is arising whether negligence was done about the safety of workers at the construction site? No safety arrangements or barricading at the 60 feet high tank are raising many questions. The police will take further action after the post -mortem report.
