During the program on the instructions of the Chief Minister, Minister in-charge of Korba district, Mr. Jaisingh Agrawal, presented a check of Rs.49 thousand to Kaushalya Bai Kanwar for buying 6 goats.
Till a few years ago, the financial condition of Kaushalya Bai Kanwar’s family was like that, buying a goat was like a big dream. The husband works as a shepherd. After the start of the Suraji Gaon scheme, when Gothan opened in the village, the family’s fortunes also opened. Kaushalya started making vermi compost manure. His group earned 1 lakh 53 thousand from fertilizer. Then started poultry farming. It also produces eggs. Both these enterprises are also earning a good amount of money. Food, clothing and clothing has all changed now. Now she is able to help others as well. The elder boy is doing ITI. The family is happy.
Kaushalya, a resident of Korba district, had come today to take part in the inauguration-bhoomipujan program of the development works of the district. He narrated his success story to Chief Minister Shri Bhupesh Baghel. Kaushalya didn’t forget to bring her chicken eggs with her and her face glows as she shows this proof of her success to the Chief Minister on camera. Kaushalya told that today not only is she earning, but her husband has earned 9 thousand 400 rupees only by collecting cow dung.
Kaushalya Kanwar told that the name of her group is Hare Krishna Self-Help Group. His group has sold earthworm manure for Rs 1 lakh 90 thousand. An income of 15 thousand rupees has been earned from egg production, 24 thousand rupees from the sale of earthworm and 12 thousand rupees from selling pots. He informed that his group is getting good income by joining the economic activities in Godhan Nyay Yojana and Gauthans.
Congratulating Smt. Kaushalya Kanwar, Chief Minister Shri Bhupesh Baghel said that she has implemented the schemes of the government in true sense. The experience he has told is inspiring for the entire state. He told that how employment can be created in the villages itself.
