Holika Dahan should not be done in front of asphalted roads, power poles, electric wires, telephone wires, petrol pumps, kitchen LPG gas godowns, government property or anyone’s shop or house and any private, government house, goods, wood or government property Should not be harmed either. He said that green trees and plants should not be cut for Holika Dahan, and polythene should not be burnt and the environment should be saved from pollution. Do not sprinkle color gulal on the candidates. Similarly, color gulal should not be used on the people coming and going to religious places. Obscene songs and music should not be sung or played with drums. DJ and high volume buffer sound box is banned, it should not be used. Prior permission must be taken from the concerned SDM of the area for playing the sound amplifier and the instructions of the prescribed sound and green tribunal court should be followed strictly. News and messages should not be circulated on social media without confirmation. Collector Dr. Priyanka Shukla said that during Holi it has also been seen that wet clothes are torn and thrown in electric wires, which leads to short-circuit and many accidents occur. Such an act should not be done, because of this there are obstacles in the smooth flow of electricity. He said that water should be used as little as possible and dry colors should be used as much as possible. Instructing the officers, the collector said that adequate police force and officers should be deployed for Holika Dahan and continuous patrolling should be done. The district fighter has been directed to coordinate with the municipality to arrange for a fire brigade. The Electricity Department was directed to maintain uninterrupted supply of electricity and the officer of the Excise Department was directed to strictly stop the illegal sale of liquor. The Chief Medical and Health Officer has been directed to depute doctors, staff nurses, compounders, ward boys etc. in the health centres.
