Police Commemoration Day is organized every year by the Central Reserve Police Force and all the police forces of the country. In this sequence, by organizing Police Commemoration Day today, while discharging the duty in various fronts, the police personnel who were martyred across the country, including 39 martyred soldiers of the state, were honored by Collector Shri P.S. Apart from ELMA and SP Shri Prashant Thakur, public representatives, senior citizens and police personnel paid their respects and remembered their sacrifices. On the occasion of Police Commemoration Day at 9 o’clock in the morning, the couple of officers laid a wreath at the martyr’s memorial in a program organized in the Police Lines, Rakshit Rakshak Kendra Complex, Rudri. Along with this, by showering flowers on the pictures of 39 martyr soldiers of the district, they remembered their martyrdom. In addition to them, Additional Superintendent of Police Smt. Megha Tembhurkar, District Panchayat President Smt. Kanti Sonwani, District Panchayat members Smt. Kavita Babar and Khublal Dhruv, former Mayor Smt. Archana Choubey, senior citizen Shri Mohan Lalwani, family members of martyred soldiers, public representatives present, senior citizens and others. The contingent of soldiers took the defense Inspector Shri K. Devaraju, remembering the sacrificed police personnel by laying wreath in front of the martyr memorial. After this, the names of the soldiers who were martyred in various fronts and encounters were read. Similarly, the head constable of village Padmapur, Shri Shivprasad Sharma, Shri Siyaram Dhruva of village Satbahna, Shri Mahavir Markam of Gattasilli, Shri Chandrashekhar Rangari of Danitola ward Dhamtari, Shri Nakul Dhruva of village Kokdi, Shri Devnath Nag of village Khadpathra and Shri of village Malhari Virendra Som, Martyr constable Shri Lalit Diwan of village Nardha (Muggerload), Shri Radheshyam Nagvanshi of Singapur (Kamaipur), Shri Dharmendra Sahu of Linepara town, Shri Hemant Som of Kotpara town, Shri Pyarelal Som of Bazarpara town, Shri Khilwan Bisen of Chhipli, The martyrdom of Shri Ratanlal Markam of Farsiyan, Shri Narayan Sori of village Sambalpur, Shri Santosh Kumar of Gagra, Shri Nohru Ram Netam of village Sankra, the martyr constable Shri Shivkumar Korram of Village-Jaitpuri was remembered. Similarly, martyr constable Shri Vijay Suryakar of village-Podagaon, Sihawa, Shri Dhanraj Dhruva of village Semra, Shri Bhushan Mandavi of Vishrampur, Shri Vasudev Dhruva of village-Rawansinghi, Shri Rameshwar Dhruv of Navagaon-Shyamtarai, Shri Amjad Khan of Nagari, Pandripani Mr. Khagendra Kumar Kashyap of Amgaon, Mr. Chandrahas Dhruv of Amgaon, Mr. Chhabilal Kanshi of village Maragaon, Mr. Naval Kishore Shandilya of village Intarras, Mr. Aditya Sahu of village Bhainsasankara, Mr. Nirmal Kumar Netam of Kauhabahra, Mr. Tikeshwar Kumar Dhruv of Perewadih, village Dokal. Martyr constable Shri Tilaram Thakur, martyr assistant constable of village Chhindbhari Shri Kailash Netam, martyr SPO of village Arjuni. Mr. Tiran Singh Manjhi, Shaheed Mr. Keshav Nishad, resident of village Bhanwarmara and Mr. Balram Dhruv of village Bhendri (Muggerlod) are included. It was told that from September 2021 to October 2022, a total of 264 soldiers were martyred across the country. The martyrdom of the soldiers of the country including the state was remembered today.
