Shri Praveen Reddy G.P., the expenditure observer appointed by the Election Commission of India to monitor the items of expenditure during the by-election being held in Bhanupratappur (ST) assembly constituency number-80. Today, in the District Office Kanker, various teams related to expenditure such as MCMC, Flying Scot, Static Monitoring Team and Video Surveillance Team, Video Observation Team, Control Room, Accounts Team, Excise and Income Tax Department officers meeting during assembly by-election. Instructed to exercise complete vigilance and keep strict vigil on the expenditure incurred by the political parties and candidates in elections. Instructions were also given to conduct videography of public meetings, meetings, processions etc. conducted by political parties and candidates and to observe them closely. Installation of check posts on major roads coming under Vidhansabha Bhanupratappur and ban on illegal sale and transportation of liquor and the team of Flying Scott was directed to visit continuously and take action after reaching the destination as soon as the information is received from the control room. MCMC team was directed to keep a watch on paid news being published, circulated in electronic and print media. On this occasion, Senior Treasury Officer and Nodal Officer for Expenditure Monitoring Monitoring Ramanand Kunjam, Deputy Director of Public Relations Department and Nodal Officer of MCMC Surendra Kumar Thakur, Officer in-charge of Control Room P.L. Delhiwar, Assistant Expenditure Observer Rakesh Singh, District Panchayat Accounts Officer Lawrence Kumar, Liaisoning Officer Bhupendra Chandrakar, Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana Accounts Officer T. Rajeshwar Rao including- MCMC, Flying Scott, Static Monitoring Team and Video Surveillance Team, Video Observation Team , Control Room and all the member officers of Accounts Team were present.
