Urban Administration Minister Dr. Dahria inaugurated three new water tanks

Minister of Urban Administration and Development and Labor, Dr. Shivkumar Dahria from his office in Raipur under the Durg Municipal Corporation made virtual release of three high level water reservoirs built under the Amrit Mission Scheme at a cost of Rs. 3 crore 4 lakh through video conferencing.

Certainly, the construction of this tank will remove the problem of drinking water crisis in the area. Thousands of people will use drinking water. He further said that continuous work is being done for the development of Durg Municipal Corporation and also in the direction of prevention of corona epidemic. An amount of 4 crores has been sanctioned for the Chavanisation of Shivnath river road, 6 crores for Gauravathi Chaudishan. 6 crore has been sanctioned for various works and Rs. 13 crore 50 lakh for the Baghdad Picnic Spot. He said that in the coming days, the people of the fort will get the gift of many development works.
In the virtual program, in-charge of Durg district and Transport, Housing and Environment, Law and Legislative Affairs, Forest Minister Mohammad Akbar also connected to his office through video conferencing. Presiding over the program, he said that to overcome the crisis of drinking water in summer, the launch of water tank today is a privilege. This will provide pure water to the citizens of the area. The program was also addressed by MLA and President of Durg, Mr. Arun Vora, President of Chhattisgarh Ware House Corporation, Mayor Mr. Dhiraj Bakaliwal.
