Under the public distribution system, the district got allocation of 48 thousand liters of kerosene in the month of November.

GPM district has received allocation of 48 thousand liters of kerosene (kerosene) under the public distribution system in the month of November. Collector Sushri Richa Prakash Chowdhary has issued orders to the concerned dealers and directed them to lift and store 100 percent kerosene by 25th. It has been said in the order that from the month of November 2022, all the priority and Antyodaya ration cards prevalent under the public distribution system will be eligible for kerosene. Ration card holders of all urban areas will be eligible for 2 liters of kerosene and under rural areas, ration card holders of scheduled areas will be entitled for a maximum of 3 liters and ration card holders of non-scheduled areas will be entitled for 2 liters of kerosene. Before storing kerosene in fair price shops by the lead committee, the wholesaler should compulsorily get the kerosene tanker verified by the food inspector-naib tehsildar. The wholesale dealer will ensure to store kerosene oil in the lead marketing society development block as per the allotment. According to the shop-wise kerosene sub-allocation list of kerosene received from the lead organization wholesaler, make sure to store 100 percent of the quantity in PDS shops as per the list of November 2022. Kerosene e-Panchnama will be done by the concerned dealer, lead, marketing organization, government fair price shops. Manager lead institution, all wholesale dealers should ensure to send dealer-wise, shop-wise information of supply quantity and distribution quantity at the end of the month to the Sub-Divisional Officer Revenue and District Food Office by the last date of the month.
