Realizing the ‘Tunhar Sarkar, Tuhar Dwar’ of the Government of Chhattisgarh, the Transport Department has started the work of delivering the driving license and registration certificate at the doorsteps of the applicants from June 1. With the launch of the scheme, people of the state will get more than 22 services of the department sitting at home.
The scheme was launched under the able leadership of Transport Minister Mohammad Akbar under the guidance of Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel. Now applicants will not have to go to the transport offices to get their driving license or registration certificate. To make this service more accessible, a helpline number 7580808030 has been issued, which provides information while working from 10 am to 05.30 pm on all working days. You can get information by sending mail. By calling on the above number, applicants can get all the information related to the dispatch of their driving license and registration certificate. Right now an average of 120-130 calls are being received, mainly in which the transport office is getting information related to the resumption time, driving license and registration process, tax and fees.
Through centralized smart card printing and dispatch system through India Post, so far about 1806 registration certificates have been sent to the address of the applicants through India Post, out of which only 1 registration certificate is not available at the applicant’s home. has come back, all the rest have been safely delivered to the applicant’s home.
