Transgender community thanked the Chief Minister for giving 50 percent exemption in driving training fee

Chhattisgarh Mitwa Sankalp Samiti expressed gratitude on the announcement of 50 percent exemption in training fee for women and transgender community by Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel on the occasion of the inauguration of the newly built Institute of Driving and Traffic Research (IDTR) at Tendua village adjoining Nava Raipur. Chhattisgarh Mitwa Sankalp Samiti, in a letter of gratitude sent to the Chief Minister, has said that this announcement of Chief Minister Mr. Baghel has inspired the transgender community to acquire skills. Also, as a result of this announcement, an environment of inclusive development will also be created in the state and employment opportunities will also be created for the people of transgender community. The committee has expressed its gratitude on behalf of the government for the continuous encouragement of the transgender community. The committee has also thanked the Transport Minister, Mr. Mohammad Akbar, for giving opportunities to the transgender community in training in the driving institute and for announcing special exemption in the prescribed fee. It is noteworthy that on 9th December, Chief Minister Shri Bhupesh Baghel announced 50 percent exemption for women and transgender in the prescribed fees for training in IDTR and free training for the differently-abled at the inauguration ceremony of Institute of Driving and Traffic Research (IDTR).
