Tilottama Soni (Disaster Management Officer), resident of Kankalipara here, lodged a report that on 8/05/2021 BSNL’s Seam was cheated under the guise of verification and withdrawing money from two different bank accounts. In this case, the police have registered a case under section 420 of the IPC and started searching for the thugs.The thug called the said authority on the phone at 2 in the afternoon and said that your SIM is going to be blocked. The thug also reported its time as 3:40 pm. Thinking that the phones should not be switched off, the said officer made his daughter talk to the thugs. The thug took the whole process of immediately verifying Sim with his daughter in a hoax. The thug downloaded the Enidesk app on the victim’s mobile to make money. After this, going to BSNL Online recharge website bsnl.rechargecube.in and asked to recharge for 10 rupees.
After which the victim made a recharge of Rs 10 by entering the card number and CVV number from the ATM card of her Central Bank of India account number 1384614574. After which the thug said that the registration number of the SIM card is not being generated. Therefore, be recharged from another bank’s card. After this, the daughter of the victim made a debit card number and CVV number of SBI account number 10038954223 and recharged Rs 10 from the phone pay app. Shortly after this, the thugs pulled out about 81 thousand rupees from both the bank accounts of the said officer.
