Thirty-six months of Chhattisgarh: Desire for development in the path of thorns

At the time of undivided Madhya Pradesh, our Chhattisgarh, which was called the bowl of rice, has been climbing new steps of development ever since it came into existence as a separate state. In this ups and downs of development, why did the farmers, poor and laborers of Chhattisgarh remain where they were even after years of formation of the state? Perhaps only farmers and laborers will be able to answer these questions. Everyone believes that development has taken place. Roads were built, buildings were built, but did all of us dream that after the formation of the state, our Chhattisgarh should develop like a metropolis? No.. Actually, behind the formation and formation of Chhattisgarh state, it was the dream of all the people associated with the soil that they can live in their state with their self-respect and self-respect. The farmers living here had a dream that they would get the right price for their hard work. Be it laborers or poor, there was also an unwavering belief with the state of Chhattisgarh that the governments holding power should not discriminate against them and help them to live life with self-respect and become companions of happiness and sorrow. The people living here, including the Scheduled Tribes, Scheduled Castes and Backward Classes, took people from all the societies along. In the Chhattisgarh state formed with hundreds of dreams, the Chhattisgarhis put the new government on power. When the new government was sworn in on 17th December 2018, Shri Bhupesh Baghel became the Chief Minister. Being a farmer and such a militant leader attached to the land, his aggressive nature has always remained like a thorn for the opponents, more than his peasant image. He wanted to revive that sense of typical Chhattisgarhia present within the Chhattisgarhis and the tradition, culture of Chhattisgarh, which had been lost in the glare of modern development and time. They knew that the development of Chhattisgarh is not possible without uplifting the poor, farmers and laborers here. They knew that the farmers of our state were in debt for years. Even after producing huge amount of paddy, they are not getting the right price for the production. The farmers of the state are engaged in selling the land due to the loss in agriculture. They are leaving agriculture and becoming laborers. The family is disintegrating from the village. Farmers are becoming laborers by going outside the state and the tradition and culture of the state is also disintegrating. All these things must have been in the mind of Shri Bhupesh Baghel. Perhaps this is the reason that as soon as he became the Chief Minister of Chhattisgarh, he understood the heart of the farmers and despite not having any kind of pressure, as soon as sitting on the chair, more than 18 lakh farmers got Rs. 9 thousand crore loan waiver, another Rs. 2500 for the purchase of paddy. Then decided to return the land of tribals in Lohandiguda. He waived irrigation tax and reduced the electricity bill by half and brought great relief to all the sections. Chhattisgarh had to bear a big loss. It was like a challenge, yet Chief Minister Mr. Baghel showed restraint and understanding and stepped forward in the interest of the farmers. If they wanted, instead of benefiting the farmers, they would have saved several thousand crores by referring to the rules of the Center, but they did not do so. The Chief Minister formulated the Rajiv Gandhi Kisan Nyay Yojana. His schemes like Narva, Garva, Ghurva, Bari started sprouting like a fruit tree in every district and every village of the state. Godhan Nyay Yojana gave a new direction to employment and environment, animal protection. Under the leadership of Chief Minister Mr. Baghel, Chhattisgarh was in full swing in the path of development even when the economy of the whole world was moaning due to the havoc of Corona. Along with improving health facilities, every effort was made to deal with Corona. The government took many important decisions to overcome the crisis arising in the first and second wave. This was the time when the farmers were facing financial crunch due to the lockdown. Even in this opposite time, the Chief Minister put money in the pockets of farmers and cow-keepers through Rajiv Gandhi Nyay Yojana and Godhan Nyay Yojana and made the economy of Chhattisgarh dynamic by strengthening the rural economy by collecting forest produce, paying the amount on time from MNREGA. kept. During the Kovid period, whether the production of medical equipment for treatment in the state is given priority, the Chief Minister has proved his efficiency here as well. He ensured the arrangement of free ration for the families. After school closure, students were relieved from stress by continuing online education through Tuhar Duar. During the Kovid period, the rules were relaxed to give compassionate appointment to the dependents of the deceased employees. It is not that they did everything only for the farmers, cow-keepers. Take big steps for the forest dwellers also. Along with giving forest rights, collection of forest produce, increasing the support price of tendu leaves opened the doors of economic strength for the people of remote areas also. In addition to farm loan waiver, irrigation tax waiver, he took the initiative to double the irrigation capacity and also focused his attention on many big projects including Bodh Ghat Irrigation Project, Anicut, diversion schemes. He targeted the poor and made schemes related to them and development of the state. I considered these plans important. State-run Chief Minister Urban Slum Health Scheme, Dai-Didi Clinic, Chief Minister Haat Bazar Clinic Scheme, Swami Atmanand English Medium School Scheme, Chief Minister Ward Office Scheme, Chhattisgarh Mahtari Dular Yojna, Pauni-Pasari Yojna, Chief Minister Sugam Road Scheme, Shaheed Mahendra Karma Tendupatta collectors social security scheme, Dharsa development scheme, Chief Minister’s tree plantation promotion scheme, Chief Minister’s nutrition campaign, lease and housing to the urban poor, e-registration, development of Ramvangaman tourism circuit, administrative decentralization and creation of five new districts for the development of backward areas. Organized Tribal Dance Festival to promote the culture of the state at the national level, including formation of several new tehsils, return of cases registered against tribals, taking action against chit fund companies and refunding investors’ money. Chief Minister Shri Baghel proved to be a great patron and conductor of the culture and tradition of Chhattisgarh. From Teej-festivals, he also worked in the direction of keeping the cultural heritage intact here. By declaring a public holiday, everyone was given an opportunity to be associated with their festival. Works related to infrastructure should also be done for construction of government buildings, roads and bridges. He worked towards making self-help groups more financially empowered through Gauthans. Along with providing other markets including C-Mart to the products made by him, he also waived off the debts of the debt-ridden women’s groups. Whether it is Anganwadi worker, helper or cleanliness didi who played an important role in eradicating malnutrition from Chhattisgarh, Chief Minister boosted their morale by increasing their honorarium. Not only did the teachers who have been demanding merger for years been merged, direct recruitment of teachers in schools, recruitment of soldiers in police besides many new employment opportunities were also developed. Work has been done to improve education and health services in tribal areas. Hundreds of closed schools were started in Bastar region. Welfare steps like purchase of small plots, reduction in guide line rates of land by 30 percent were taken. As the tenure of the Chhattisgarh government progressed in the direction of development, challenges arose. There was a difference in the GST collection due to the closure of the market in the lockdown, but the work was also affected due to the state not getting the state’s share of the collected GST during the opening of the market. Whether it is the matter of taking rice from Chhattisgarh or the matter related to ethanol, Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana or GST. Due to many obstacles, going ahead in matters related to public interest and welfare schemes was like walking in the path of thorns. it happens. Farmers use pesticides to save their crops. Facing the challenges, the farmer grows the crop. Similarly, in spite of many obstacles and challenges, the Chief Minister, Mr. Baghel left no stone unturned in the development of the state. As soon as he took the oath, his campaign started with the welfare of the farmers continued continuously even in every challenge. Compared to other states of the country, Chhattisgarh is also such a state, where there was no movement of farmers. Those youths associated with agriculture, who were moving away from farming due to not getting the right price for their produce, are now seeing a golden future in the field of agriculture. Perhaps this is the reason why they too have started joining agriculture after seeing the farmer-friendly decisions of the Chhattisgarh government. The Government of Chhattisgarh under the leadership of Chief Minister Mr. Baghel has laid the foundation of development in thirty-six months and has also made it fruitful on the ground. Under his leadership, the state also got many national honors and increased recognition throughout the country. It is not hidden, now that the danger of corona is looming again. Signs of the third wave. In such a situation, in the new year, the people of Chhattisgarh are confident that by adopting Corona management again, for the pride and self-respect of Chhattisgarhis, Chief Minister Shri Bhupesh Baghel will move forward in the path of development and empowering everyone with justice. Will be successful in forging Chhattisgarh. Like this:Like Loading… Continue Reading
