Senior Superintendent of Police Ajay Yadav flagged off a helmet awareness rally on Wednesday. The rally made residents aware of wearing helmets to drive safely. Helmet rally was flagged off from Marine Drive Telibandha Talab Raipur at 9 am. The rally ended at Marine Drive via Anand Nagar Dhal, Kenal Chowk to Bus Stand, Railway Station, Shastri Chowk, SRP Chowk. Also, traffic chaupal will be made aware in village Saragaon. On Tuesday, the second day of National Road Safety Month, a traffic public awareness campaign was conducted at the intersections. It was advised to follow the traffic rules by distributing banner posters, pumplets and street plays at square-intersections. It is noteworthy that Home Minister Tamradhwaj Sahu has started this month-long program. On the second day of the program, a street theater was organized at Jaistambh Chowk, Marine Drive, Telibandha Talab Raipur. The artists conveyed the rules of the drivers to the drivers through traffic plays and song music. During this time, the traffic police officials gave detailed information about the traffic rules to the attendees and the drivers.
