The spirit of philanthropy flows from the teachings of saints – Mahatmas: Chief Minister Mr. Baghel

Bhupesh Baghel attended the closing ceremony of the Akhand Navadha Ramayana program held at Anuragi Dham in Motimpur village, Pathariya in Mungeli district today. On this occasion, he offered obeisance at the tomb of Baba Anuragi ji in Pushpajanli and Havan Kund and sought blessings for the well being of the people of the state. Addressing the concluding program of Akhand Navadha Ramayana, he said that India is a country of saints. A sense of benevolence flows from the thoughts and teachings of saintly Mahatmas. Baba Anuragi’s thoughts and teachings are being followed by a large number of followers.

Baghel said that Baba Anuragi Ji is being remembered every year through the Akhand Navadha Ramayana in the village of Motimpur, which is a matter of happiness. He said that with the inspiration of Anuragi Baba, last year also had the opportunity to come to Anuragi Dham and this year also got the chance to come. He said that most people did not know Anuragi Dham before. Now this dham has become a holy place. Here people from far and wide come to take blessings of Anuragi Baba, which shows his fame. He said that two years ago barrage and stop dams have been constructed on big rivers like Mahanadi and Shivnath river. But the barrage and stop dame are not being fully utilized. Now, a strategy has been made to provide irrigation facility to the farmers near them through barrage and stop dams. He said that water will be transported to farmers’ fields through lift from barrage and stop dams built under the strategy. In this regard, there is a matter of providing electricity on the sides of barrage and stop dams. Chief Minister Mr. Baghel earlier welcomed the people by wearing a garland of Mahatma Shri Purushottam from Vrindavan and Mahatma Radheshyam from Dalhapodi.

The program was also addressed by Leader of Opposition in Chhattisgarh Legislative Assembly Shri Dharamlal Kaushil, School Education Minister Dr. Premasai Singh Tekam, Forest Minister Mr. Mohammad Akbar, Rajya Sabha MP Mr. Vivek Tankha and MLA Mr. Shailesh Pandey. The chairman of the organizing committee, Mr. K.K. Srivastava gave the welcome address. On this occasion former MLA Mr. Siya Ram Kaushik, Mr. Churavan Mangeshkar, District Panchayat President Mrs. Lekhani Sonu Chandrakar, Bilaspur Municipal Corporation Mayor Mr. Ramsharan Yadav, District Panchayat Member Vice President Mr. Sanjeet Banerjee, District Panchayat Member Mrs. Ambalika Sahu, Mr. Vashi Ulla A large number of followers of Anuragi Baba and villagers were present along with Kha, senior citizen Shri Sagar Singh Bais.
