Mr. Praveer Krishna, Managing Director, TRIFED, Government of India, during his stay in Bastar, today reached the village Semra near Jagdalpur city and inspected the under construction Trifood Industry and Modern Library in Jagdalpur city. It is worth mentioning that the construction work of a huge and well-equipped trifood industry is in progress at a cost of Rs 6 crore in village Semra near the national highway at a cost of Rs 6 crore. Where the availability of all types of forest produce will be ensured at one place including tamarind, mahua, amla, honey etc. Shri Praveer Krishna instructed the officials present on the occasion to complete the construction work of this trifood industry by August 15. He has instructed Collector Shri Rajat Bansal to ensure quality in construction work by constantly monitoring it. During this period, the Forest Officer, Ms. Stylo Mandavi, Assistant Collector Ms. Rena Jamil, SDM Mr. GR Markam and other officials were present.
Mr. Praveer Krishna, Managing Director, TRIFED, looked at the map and got information about the infrastructure of the project under construction. During this, he inquired about administrative building, processing unit, utility and packaging center etc. in the building under construction. Shri Praveer Krishna instructed to plant saplings of tamarind, mahua, amla, etc. around this under construction complex and coordinate with Collector Shri Rajat Bansal to complete this work within the stipulated time. He also asked the officers to increase the human resources to complete the construction work within the time limit. During this time Shri Krishna also visited Modern Library of Jagdalpur city. Collector Shri Rajat Bansal gave detailed information to Shri Krishna regarding the characteristics of Modern Library.
