Raipur. The issue of works being done under CSR was echoed in the Assembly. Former Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel asked whether the state government would request the Center to bring the state under its control like before. Minister Lakhanlal Dewangan said that he will write a letter to the Central Government in this regard.

Before this, BJP MLA Bhavana Bohra asked what works are done under CSR head. Minister Lakhanlal Dewangan informed that the CSR item is under the Central Government. Action is taken only as per the guidelines of the Central Government.
Anuj Sharma said that industries spend the amount as per their wish, what action will be taken. On this, Minister Lakhanlal Dewangan informed that only the Central Government has the right to decide in this regard. BJP MLA Dharamjit Singh said that please provide information through which medium the work is being done. The minister said that industries work by talking directly to local public representatives.

The issue of amount given under CSR head in Bilaspur district was also raised in the House. BJP MLA Sushant Shukla asked for information about the amount given year wise. Minister Lakhan Lal Dewangan said that the CRS item is under the Central Government. The authority was taken from the state in 2022, so I will not be able to give information about it.
Sushant Shukla said that an official of your own government has given the information. The CSR item has been distributed through the Collector. By what authority did this happen? On this, Minister Lakhan Lal Dewangan said that we will demand from the Government of India that the right of CSR item should be given to the state, so that the item can be used with the arrangements.
