    With the aim of providing regular employment to the local residents of the tourism sector, the Chief Minister has also directed that people be connected with small cottage industries, including homestays. He said that villagers in tourism areas should also be encouraged to promote the homestay business.

    The meeting was attended by Chief Secretary Shri Amitabh Jain, Principal Chief Conservator of Forests and Head of Forest Force Shri V. Srinivasa Rao, Additional Chief Secretary Smt. Richa Sharma, Principal Secretary to the Chief Minister Shri Subodh Singh, Secretary of Tourism Department Shri Anbalgan P., Secretary to the Chief Minister Shri Rahul Bhagat, Shri Basavaraju S., Secretary of Industry Department Shri Rajat Kumar, Secretary of Water Resources Department Shri Rajesh Sukumar Toppo, and senior officers of related departments.
