    Chief Minister attended the oath-taking ceremony of the newly elected officials of the Chhattisgarh Chamber of Commerce and Industries

    Raipur April 20, 2025/The Chhattisgarh Chamber of Commerce and Industries has an important role to play in building a developed Chhattisgarh. Trade, business and industry are developing rapidly in the state, due to which Chhattisgarh is a leader in GST collection. Our illustrious Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi has resolved to make India a developed country by the year 2047. For this, we all have to work together to make Chhattisgarh developed.

    Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai said this while addressing the oath-taking ceremony of the Chhattisgarh Chamber of Commerce and Industries held at Shaheed Smarak Auditorium in the capital Raipur. During the program, Chamber President Shri Satish Thorani, General Secretary Shri Ajay Bhasin, Treasurer Shri Nikesh Bardia along with other officials took the oath.

    On this occasion, Chief Minister Shri Sai said that the Chhattisgarh Chamber of Commerce and Industries has been functional for 62 years, with 1.2 million traders associated with it. For the first time in the history of this largest trade organization of the state, the election has been completed unanimously, which is a testament to the unity of the organization. This organization should maintain this tradition in the future as well. He said that important decisions have been taken by the state government for the progress of industry and trade in the state.

    The Chief Minister said that our government has always given priority to small traders. The limit of e-way bill has been increased from 50 thousand to 1 lakh rupees. We have reduced VAT on petrol by Re 1 per liter. Giving relief to the traders, VAT liability up to Rs 25,000 has been waived in 10-year-old pending cases. 40 thousand traders of the state are getting its benefit.

    New industrial policy: Proposals for investment of four and a half lakh crore rupees in the state

    Chief Minister Shri Sai said that the new industry policy has created a positive environment for industries in the state. Since its implementation, investment proposals worth four and a half lakh crore rupees have been received in the state so far. Recently, the Bhoomi Poojan of the plant for semiconductor manufacturing has been done in Nava Raipur. Recently, we organized investor meets in Delhi, Mumbai and Bangalore. There is tremendous enthusiasm among businessmen and industrialists across the country regarding this. They want to be a part of Chhattisgarh’s development journey.

    Request to publicize the new industrial policy more and more

    The Chief Minister urged the office bearers of the Chamber to publicize the new industrial policy of the State Government as much as possible, so that more and more investment can be attracted in the State. He also congratulated and wished the newly elected officials.

    On this occasion, Assembly Speaker Dr. Raman Singh said that the flow of money in the market is essential for the state’s economy. Farmers are the axis of our economy. Chief Minister Shri Sai made a record purchase of paddy from farmers at Rs 3100 per quintal and 21 quintals per acre. Two years of paddy bonus was also given. The budget of the state has increased from 6000 crores to 1 lakh 60 thousand crore rupees now. Chhattisgarh has the highest automobile sales in the country, which shows that our economy is moving forward rapidly. By the year 2047, Chhattisgarh will be among the first three developed states in the country. The Chamber will also have a significant participation in the development of the state.

    Former MP and former Governor Shri Ramesh Bais said that the state government is making every possible effort for the progress of industry and trade in Chhattisgarh. Similarly, the industry is also contributing to the development of the state. When both wheels move together, the pace of development increases rapidly. Raipur MP Shri Brijmohan Agrawal said that the Chamber elections being held unanimously shows that the business community will move forward rapidly. No one can stop the progress of a country that promotes trade, business and industry. This work is being done efficiently in Chhattisgarh under the leadership of Chief Minister Shri Sai. He urged the members of the Chamber to distribute water, pana and matha to provide relief to the people in summer.

    On this occasion, Saint Sai Uday Shadani, Sai Laldas, Amma Mahant Meera Devi, many public representatives, chairpersons of corporations and boards along with a large number of dignitaries were present.
