The tenth meeting of the Empowered Committee for Information Technology (IT) Investment Promotion was held at Mantralaya Mahanadi Bhavan on Tuesday 09 February under the chairmanship of Chief Secretary Shri Amitabh Jain. The meeting reviewed the business activities of various institutes associated with the state information technology. Also, various business proposals of information technology companies wishing to work in Chhattisgarh were discussed.
Chief Secretary Shri Amitabh Jain has said that IT as per standard guidelines. Companies will be set up in the state. In the meeting, investment proposals received under the policy of Electronics and Information Technology Supported Services were discussed in detail for in-principle approval and nine I.T. The proposals of the companies were approved. These proposals include software development, solar modules, LEDs. Proposals related to establishment of units of Light, Data Management, Social Signage Fire, Digital Class Room, Metalcore Printing, Medical Electronics in the State. Additional Chief Secretary Mr. Subrata Sahu, Chief Executive Officer of CHIPS Mr. Sameer Vishnoi and other senior officers were present in the meeting.
