Telemedicine week will be organized from June 6 to June 11 with the aim of providing better medical facilities to the general public in all the health and wellness centers operating in the state. State Nodal Officer of Health and Wellness Program Dr. Surendra Pambhoi said that through telemedicine, medical officers and subject experts will provide screening and treatment of diseases of patients suffering from serious diseases. Treatment and advice will be provided to the affected people. Similarly, on June 7 (NCD) treatment and advice for non-communicable diseases, on June 8, treatment and advice related to maternal health, child health and family planning, on June 9 for serious infectious diseases And advice related to nose, ear, throat and eye diseases examination and surgery will be given by specialist doctors, while on June 10, treatment and advice related to old age, on June 11, adolescent health, dental treatment and advice will be provided by subject experts. Dr Pambhoi said that this facility will be available from 11 am to 5 pm in the Health and Wellness Center. Monitoring of OPD done through telemedicine will be done regularly at district and state level.
