Mukesh Chandrakar played an important role in the release of Cobra Commando Rakeshwar Singh Manhas from the captivity of Maoists after the Taklaguda Naxalite attack in Bijapur in April 2021. He had gone missing since the evening of January 1. After this, on Friday, his body was found in a septic tank built near the badminton court of contractor Suresh Chandrakar.
