Special Secretary of School Education Department inspected the board examination centers

Rajesh Singh Rana, Special Secretary, School Education Department and Director, State Council of Educational Institutions and Training (SCERT), today presented J.N. Pandey and P.G. Visited the board examination centers organized in the school located at Umathe Shanti Nagar. Mr. Rana made a surprise inspection of both the schools and instructed them to follow the guidelines of Kovid-19 completely during the examination. He also inspected the arrangements for checking the examinees by means of sanitizers and thermal scanners at the main gate and inside the examination hall. All the students were found wearing masks following social distancing. It was also directed by Mr. Rana to the President of the examination center, if any candidate has common symptoms of cold-cough or fever, then his separate seating arrangement should be ensured by following the Kovid-19 rules. During the inspection Dr. Yogesh Shivhare, Additional Director of SCERT was also there. It is to be known that the 10th and 12th board examinations started by the Chhattisgarh Board of Secondary Education from today. The first paper was of Hindi specific and Hindi general. This year, 4044 examination centers were set up by the Board of Secondary Education for 10th board and 6743 for 12th board. This time 3 lakh 80 thousand 27 children were registered in class 10th. These include 3 lakh 77 thousand 667 regular and 2 thousand 360 private registered candidates. Similarly, there are a total of 2 lakh 93 thousand 425 candidates for the 12th board examination. Out of these, 2 lakh 89 thousand 808 are regular and 3 thousand 617 are private candidates. The maximum number of 531 examination centers have been set up in Janjgir-Champa district for class 10th examination. There are 512 exam centers in Raipur and lowest 41 exam centers have been set up in Narayanpur district. Similarly, in the 12th examination, the maximum 358 examination centers have been set up in Janjgir Champa. 345 examination centers have been set up in Raipur and the lowest in Sukma is 19.
