The Prime Minister’s Employment Generation Program is a government subsidized program. Employment opportunities have to be created in urban and rural areas of the state through the establishment of new self-employment ventures under the scheme. Shri Inderi Thakur, resident of Kesharpal, Tehsil Bastar village, is born in a farming family and has studied up to 12th class under very difficult circumstances. He contacted the office and got complete information of the scheme and got a loan case of Rs. 3 lakhs made for his welding shop.
After coordinating with the officers of the department, the District Level Task Force Committee requested the matter to be remitted to the nearest bank of its area to the State Bank of India Branch Kesharpal. The district business and Kesharpal requested to remit his loan case. District Trade and Industry Center Jagdalpur sent the State Bank of India Kesharpal to the case of Intri Thakur. In the case of Mr. Thakur, the bank sanctioned and distributed Rs.3 lakh with the help of the officers and employees of the office. With the disbursed amount, Mr.Intari Thakur started his own welding shop named Messrs. Danteshwari Welding Works and Furniture. The margin money rebate of 25 percent was provided by the department based on the amount sanctioned under the Prime Minister’s plan. Mr. Thakur is earning monthly income of 30 to 35 thousand from his own business by making regular payment of installment every month. 05 people of his own village have got work in his shop. Their such progress is an inspiration for the development and youth of the village, that is, the Prime Minister’s Employment Generation Program scheme is proving a boon in the field of self-employment for educated unemployed youths.
