Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai has praised the passion of Veena Sahu, daughter of Chhattisgarh, who is serving as Lieutenant Nursing Officer in the Indian Army, and Aditya Singh of Farsgaon, Bastar, who has been selected in the Rashtriya Indian Military College, for joining the Indian Army. Both these youth are from ordinary families. These youth from ordinary backgrounds have achieved this position due to their passion and enthusiasm to serve the country and join the Indian Army.
Veena Sahu is the daughter of farmer Chetan Sahu of Jamruwa village of Balod district. Veena Sahu’s dream was to join the military, which she fulfilled with her dedication and hard work. Aditya Singh’s father Jaiprakash Singh runs a general store. Aditya’s father wanted to join the Air Force, but could not succeed. His son has made this dream come true with his hard work and dedication.
Veena Sahu’s achievement is a source of inspiration for the youth.
Chief Minister Sai spoke to Veena Sahu on phone and congratulated her for her achievement and encouraged her. Veena Sahu has come to her home during holidays. The Chief Minister said that daughters are our self-respect, the pride of Chhattisgarh. He told Veena Sahu that you have brought glory to Chhattisgarh, you have raised the name of Chhattisgarh. This achievement of yours is a source of inspiration for countless youth of the state. Veena Sahu said that by becoming Nursing Officers, we are serving those people who serve the country.
