Collector Dr Sarveshwar Bhure today visited Lakhauli, Benidih, Gudguda (Amethi) and Kosarangi villages of Arang block and inquired about Rural Industrial Park, Gauthan and drains. During the inspection, he took information about the implementation of government schemes from Panchayat representatives and women of self-help groups and asked about their problems and demands. During this, Akash Chhikara, CEO of Zilla Panchayat and other concerned officials were also present. Collector Dr Bhure today inspected the site of Rural Industrial Park to be built in Lakhauli and Kosarangi village of Arang. During this, he said that more and more livelihood-oriented activities should be conducted in this park, so that women get employment and their economic resources increase. Women apprised that bakery products like toast, pav, bread, papad, dona-pattal etc. will be made in this park. These products can be sold locally and in nearby villages. Similarly, the collector also inspected the village’s Gothan. Collector Dr Bhure took information about the livelihood activities going on in Gauthan from the steering committee. He also bought cow dung in Gauthan and inquired about the production of vermicompost. He talked about selling the vermi compost made in Gauthan as soon as possible. Inspected vermi stitches in Gauthan and asked the members of women’s groups to follow the prescribed procedure for making manure. The members of the group told that good income is being made from the vermi compost and bari being made in Gauthan. The Collector inspected the Sanghari Nala in Benidih and Bhothali Nala at Gudguda. During this, he directed the concerned officers present to clean the silt from the beginning to the end of the drain. According to the need, plantation can be done on both sides of the stop-dam and the drain to stop the water in the drain.
