The state government has sanctioned Rs.81 crore 40 lakh 89 thousand for the development of command area and water management work of Kelo project under Kharsia area of Raigad district. This amount has been approved under Pradhan Mantri Krishi Vikas Yojana Fast Track. After completion of this work, about 22 thousand 810 hectare area will be irrigated for Kharif crops. For this work, the Water Resources Department has given administrative approval to the Chief Engineer, Minimata (Hasdev) Bango Project, Bilaspur from Mantralaya Mahanadi Bhawan.
