Rs 22.64 crore sanctioned for eight irrigation schemes – Lok Shakti.in

The Chhattisgarh government has sanctioned Rs 22 crore 64 lakh 35 thousand for the works of eight different irrigation projects in the state. On completion of the works of the schemes, irrigation facility will be expanded in 1 thousand 830 hectare area. Rs 3 crore 71 lakh 67 thousand has been approved for the renovation work of Gonda Udvahan Yojana of Pratappur development block of Surajpur district. With the completion of the scheme, irrigation facility will be available in 303 hectare area. Rs 2 crore 59 lakh 41 thousand has been sanctioned for the construction work of Revati Anicut of Pratappur development block. With the completion of the scheme, irrigation facility will be available in 80 hectare area. Rs 3 crore 2 lakh 44 thousand has been sanctioned for the construction work of Darhora Anicut of Pratappur development block. With the completion of the scheme, irrigation facility will be available in 95 hectare area. Rs 1 crore 37 lakh 53 thousand has been approved for the renovation work of Chanderpur reservoir of development block-Bhaiyathan. With the completion of the work of the scheme, irrigation facility will be available in 214 hectare area. Rs 3 crore 7 lakh 26 thousand has been sanctioned for concrete channel, 04 new structures and earth work in the main canal in Domninala diversion of development block-Sitapur of Surguja district. After completion of the work, irrigation facility will be available in 370 hectare area. Rs 3 crore 42 lakh 66 thousand has been sanctioned for the renovation of the top work of Gujarwar Diversion Scheme of development block-Lundra and for the construction work of concrete channel in the main canal. With the completion of the work of the scheme, irrigation facility will be available in 364 hectare area. Rs 2 crore 63 lakh 83 thousand has been sanctioned for earth work, concrete structures and concrete channel construction work in the canal of Saliadih reservoir of Batauli development block of Surguja district. With the completion of the scheme, irrigation facility will be available in 202 hectare area. Rs 2 crore 79 lakh 55 thousand has been sanctioned for the construction work of concrete channel in the canal of Sedam Diversion Scheme of development block-Batauli.
